Robert Matheson, Chairman and CEO, and Glenn F.H. Matheson, VP, Unified Communications, have been with Glenbriar since 1995.

Robert Matheson

Robert Matheson has been CEO and President since 1995. Mr. Matheson's current responsibilities include defining and implementing Glenbriar’s overall corporate strategy, overseeing new product development initiatives, and negotiating corporate acquisitions and business partner alliances on a global basis.

From November 1982 to February 1997, Mr. Matheson held the position of Vice-President, General Counsel, Secretary, and CFO at Transwest Energy Inc.

Mr. Matheson holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia.

Shankha Bhattacharyya

Shankha Bhattacharyya, CPA, CMA, MBA was appointed Acting CFO and Controller in July 2016. Mr. Bhattacharyya has over 18 years of experience as an internal auditor, financial controller, investment analyst and financial consultant in the hospitality, financial services, high technology and IT services industries.

Mr. Bhattacharyya is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) in Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Administrative Studies (Honours) in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from York University (Schulich School of Business).

Glenn F.H. Matheson

Glenn F.H. Matheson is the Vice-President, Unified Communications, and has been an officer of Glenbriar since 1995. Glenn is responsible for Glenbriar’s network and communications division, which specializes in the implementation of third-party and customized VoIP solutions with best of breed, Tier 1 quality equipment products.

Prior to Glenbriar, Mr. Matheson provided information technology solutions through Edge Training & Consulting Ltd. in Vancouver. From May 1977 to February 1992, he held the position of Vice-President of Matheson Engineering and Developments Ltd., a consulting engineering, project design, construction management and land development company.

Mr. Matheson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

Christine Padaric

Christine Padaric is Glenbriar’s Vice-President of Human Resources and Software Services with responsibility for the company’s Ontario operations. Ms. Padaric has been with Glenbriar since 1996.

Prior to joining Glenbriar, Ms. Padaric worked for eight years in Human Resources at Grand River Hospital, Freeport.

Ms. Padaric holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor, a Diploma of Human Resource Management from Conestoga College, and is a Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL). Ms. Padaric is also engaged as an instructor in Human Resource Management and Interpersonal Communication at Conestoga College.

Warren Berg

Warren Berg is Glenbriar’s Vice-President of Information Technology with responsibility for managing the interaction of Glenbriar’s client/product and service provider relationship and developing strategic cross-selling opportunities throughout Glenbriar’s client base.

Mr. Berg’s career in the IT industry spans some 22 years during which he has held a range of senior management and consulting positions. With extensive experience in virtualization, Exchange and Active Directory design and implementation, Mr. Berg also contributes exceptional mentoring and client relations expertise to Glenbriar, which he joined in 2000.

Directors

Robert Matheson and Glenn Matheson are joined on Glenbriar’s Board of Directors by Craig Henderson, James H. Ross and Brian Tijman.

Craig Henderson

Craig Henderson was appointed a Director of Glenbriar in October 2009. Mr. Henderson is the CEO of Henderson International Holdings Ltd., a private real estate development firm (1995-present), and the CEO of North Park Management Ltd., a private capital investment firm (2005-present).

Since 1981, Mr. Henderson has been engaged as a Professional Mariner with BC Ferry Services. A graduate of the Canadian Securities Course (Investment Dealers Association) and the Investment Funds Course (Investment Funds Institute of Canada), Mr. Henderson also holds diplomas and certificates in advanced business administration, securities and investment from Capilano University, Simon Fraser University, and the Justice Institute of B.C.

James H. Ross

James H. Ross was appointed a Director of Glenbriar in September 2008. Mr. Ross is the CEO of Expander Energy Inc. (2011-present), a company that develops advanced biofuel and alternative energy technologies; and founder and CEO of Dalriada Capital Corp. (2000-present), a private investment firm engaged in private equity, venture capital, and asset-based lending and leasing. Prior to 2008, Mr. Ross was Senior Managing Director and Calgary Branch Manager at Jennings Capital Inc., a Calgary-based national investment dealer.

Mr. Ross has 29 years of investment industry experience in senior management and executive positions at various investment dealers.

Mr. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geography and Geology from McMaster University and a Diploma in Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University.

Brian Tijman

Brian Tijman was CFO and Secretary of Glenbriar from 1997 until December 2013, but continues on as a director.

Commencing in 2014, Mr. Tijman returned to his previous role as President of Edgemont Software Inc.

From 1992 to 2013, Mr. Tijman was CFO and Secretary of Glenbriar.

From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Tijman was the President of Edgemont Software Inc., a Richmond, B.C. private engineering software development company.

Prior to 1992, Mr. Tijman held the position of Vice-President at Softek Services Ltd., a Vancouver-based private structural engineering software company.

Mr. Tijman holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
